Africa has the resources to thrive. We partner with communities to unlock that abundance.

Africa has the resources to thrive. We partner with communities to unlock that abundance.

ForAfrika is an African-founded and African-led impact organisation.

For more than 40 years, we have worked alongside communities across the continent to turn urgent need into lasting progress.

We stay for the long run: responding in times of crisis, strengthening the systems and assets that support self-sufficiency, and expanding pathways to commercial viability and thriving.

Our ambition

By 2036, we aim to see 20 million Africans become self-sufficient and six million with a platform to thrive. It is an ambitious goal, grounded in a simple promise: we are committed to the long run, until the job is done and communities are enabled to thrive.

How progress happens

From urgent need to lasting opportunity

Our Dynamic Development Continuum connects humanitarian response, long-term development and social enterprise in one pathway. We work with communities to strengthen the combination of assets each context requires, from food security, water, health and education to skills, productive infrastructure, finance, markets and enterprise, so progress can endure and people can shape their own futures.

Our impact across Africa

African-led. Nationally embedded. Proven across complexity.

With established operations across eight African countries, ForAfrika combines continental perspective with deep national knowledge, trusted relationships and the ability to deliver at scale.
