Africa is the most vulnerable continent to natural and man-made disasters as well as epidemics, with over 1,000 disasters recorded in the past decade. We offer vital support and resources to our communities when they need us most.

Our extensive experience has equipped us with the expertise and capacity to respond swiftly and effectively to crises, delivering life-saving aid when it’s needed most. With a deep understanding of the complex challenges faced by communities during emergencies, we are committed to providing high-quality, impartial assistance that not only meets immediate needs but also builds long-term resilience. Key interventions of our Emergency Response programming

Rapid deployment

ForAfrika’s Disaster Response Team (DRT) can mobilise within 72 hours, delivering critical aid, including food, water, shelter, hygiene kits, and medical supplies.

Emergency logistics

We coordinate and supply essential resources, ensuring aid reaches those in need swiftly and efficiently.

Protection and accountability

We adhere to the highest humanitarian standards, prioritising the protection of vulnerable groups and ensuring aid is impartial and needs-based.

Local capacity building

We boost local efforts with additional resources and expertise, working closely with partners to enhance response quality and build long-term resilience.

Sustainable recovery

We link emergency relief with long-term development, integrating disaster preparedness and risk reduction into our programmes to reduce future vulnerabilities.

Emergency response fund

Emergencies demand immediate action. Our fund allows us to assist families promptly. Donations ensure help reaches where it’s most needed.
