Working closely with local authorities, health officials and the WASH Cluster, our team installed 25 handwashing stations equipped with soap and chlorine at strategic locations, including villages, schools, the health centre, market, harbour, churches and government offices. Community awareness sessions also promoted essential practices such as regular handwashing, safe sanitation and responsible waste management.

This response reflects ForAfrika’s commitment to preserving life while strengthening the foundations for longer-term progress. Through our Dynamic Development Continuum, emergency action becomes the starting point for a community-centred pathway towards recovery and greater self-sufficiency.
