Emergency response

Thousands flee conflict in Sudan

Assist us in providing food and shelter to thousands of people who have gathered in South Sudan’s Aweil North County after fleeing the conflict in Sudan.

Disaster overview

Families have been forced to flee their homes in Sudan and are in desperate need. We appeal to our donors to open their hearts and help us provide humanitarian assistance to those affected, most of whom are women and children.

Tarpaulins being provided for shelter

Aweil North, South Sudan

Our team has carried out an assessment at a school facility in Wedwill, Aweil West where an estimated 300-400 refugees are sheltered. We are providing Non- food items like tarpaulins for shelter and dignity kits and are raising funds for other urgent needs like food.

We are working to reduce vulnerability and enable self-sustainability of affected population to withstand future disasters.

Your donation will help provide:

  • Emergency food including fortified rice
  • Shelter materials including blankets, mosquito nets and sleeping mats
  • Dignity Kits

The rainy season has started in South Sudan so this will compound the already serious humanitarian crisis. Please give generously.
